rainbow six vegas 2 + echochrome

i've got 2 packages from playasia that was expected to arrive yesterday and 2day but both didnt turned up. my past 2 shipments came in within 6days when i opted for the free shipping from playasia. thinking it's true again, but this round it took longer. with 2mrw a holiday, Good Friday, and me being on leave, this coincidental event of packages (consisting Ex Machina blu-ray, one missed call parts 1,2,3 .... a psp pouch and condemned 2 gameguide) that has videos that will keep me sane, has gone with the wind. pity.

my wife's ill. brought her to Raffles Medical at Cinetec 1 earlier. she has fever, doc says monitor her temperature and if it didnt come done will need to head back for a blood test.

anticipating 2 PS3 games to come to the game stores too, Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds -- english version of Minna no golf 5 and Condemned 2 Blood Shots. sold my PS3 Fifa Street 3 just earlier and traded-in my PS3 Spider-man 3 collectors at $32 and bought a R3 PS3 Rainbow Six Vegas 2. many gamers have complained of the bad lag on online portion of the part 1 and looks like it's a spill over again. i mainly got the game to play around with the face mapping, but i did had great fun in 06 when i played part 1 on xbox live.

on now, in-hand i have 5 ps3 games. played Call of Duty 4 online for the first time last night. got promoted to corporal. the pace was seriously fast, i am not too used to detecting who's the foe and who's my mate. i frankly prefer UT3 or R6V multiplayer, but COD4 multiplayer now ranks the best.

had a bad headache this morning, woke up with it due to a bad pillow/posture. need a new pillow soon. need the bonus from my company soon too. and after downloading echochrome on PSN Asia, after 2 rounds, and stuck at a puzzle, the headache + shoulder ache got worst and the echochrome music got annoying ....

my GT5 Prologue jacket in my locker, inside the pockets of the windbreaker is my vodaphone modem and ipod shuffle. drove back to satcc to collect it. despite on a 5day off cycle. when i drove in there were 4, when i drove out these 3 remains .... my friends .... cats

what a fucking freak, my profile picture on the blog was from 360 version of R^V, that one look awesome .... will redo another .... took me so many tries. u will need to take a picture of your face in-game using the ps eye, one front and 1 side view. they keep prompting me after mins of generation, that my side photo is invalid ....

fifth round of vpower yields another car. there are a total of 7 toy car models purchasable and i've got 5, and a few models are outta stock. i'm enjoying the umprh vpower is providing my car. and here's appleseed dvd i got from hmv 2days ago. have sold my R2 GT5 Prologue and R1 WWE Smackdown vs Raw 08 so now i'm left with 6 PS3 games in my library. tried dead rising last night on my 360 and it sure looks dated. pretty bored with the current status of video gaming.

popped over kinokuniya at town b4 my shift work at 4pm. again bought the guide of a guide i finished like a year or more ago. most importantly my trip is to get the playstation magazine for april 2008. saw EGM, finally managed to skip it. i shouldnt pay too high for zines, EGM is $12 while playstation magazine is $8.90.

top car is my 4th ferrari from shell. had intened to get the F430 but it was sold out. price for each litre of vPower is $2.2+ but dropped to $2.17 over the evening. pay premium for more power.

is jabbit. the first black and white cat in my neighbourhood was rabbit. then he went missing and his father fabbit came looking for him. fabbit lasted for many years but there was a drought of black and white cats. recently a new stocky stout gym looking cat invaded shunfu road estate. he is junior fabbit hence his name is jabbit. of cos there is nabbit at my wife's estate. jabbit has been howling in the night for a female partner

game soundtracks - the nerd and geeks's world

yeah we all have movie soundtracks. some soundtracks are full dramatic ochestral, some are rock songs from unknown bands, some picked hits from the past, some has a mixture of instrumental tracks and vocals. but electronic game ost (original soundtrack) are the collectors item of the geek and nerd kingdom, a line one cannot cross else you'll be christened and branded.

soundtracks may it be from games or movies, it sipped into or heart and soul at some point of your journey while you immense deeply (on not) into the plot of the storyline. like a pipped-in song over your head in the library, or the music buzzing in your ears from your mp3 player while you walked in your darkest hour. only you know what is the soundtrack of your life.

in my earlier days of gaming, pc games companies capitalize the potential market of "i want more". they release versions like "collector's edition", "limited edition", "special edition". i've always been a sucker for such novelty, even still 2day.

2006 finally removes my disbelief of video gaming as i branched and departed to the world of console games. console games in the passt were a different ballgame as compared to pc gaming; FPS and realtime strat games are taboo. but xbox 360 and ps3 finally merges gaming as a whole, the controller = the mouse and keyboard. i strongly encourage everyone to give up pc gaming and let the pc be alone for your daily chores, let console gaming be king, for a console can last you millions of dole of continuous upgrading, the painful task of adjusting the graphical setting for optimal speed cos your machine cant do the job. all you need now is a hdtv + a console, all u need is love.

i salute the new adopters, including myself. blue or red pill, your choice. i can show you the fucking rabbit hole.

here's some of my old and newer game soundtracks .... like guidebooks, soundtracks become important to my collection, another expansion revenue to the extension of a game's world. top right:- Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (from play-asia, i've since stopped the game cos i cant pass the levels), dead rising (from play-asia, this is a bad soundtrack. it sounded better in-game, 1 crucial track was no included), devil may cry 4 (from play-asia, my current playlist), age of mythology (comes in a collectors edition. this one has plenty of harp), unreal (came with the guide book), unreal tournament III (from hmv, electronic rcok stuff), guitar hero III (from hmv, this is an expansion disc. u can claim 3 songs on your xbox 360 for your gameplay), metal gear solid portable ops (from hmv tokyo,havent finish the game yet til this day), metal gear solid greatest hits (play asia, with this i can skip the other 3 soundtracks of part 1 and 2 of the series), halo 3 (from hmv), blue dragon (from the productions of final fantasy, good stuff), CnC tiberian sun (from a collector edition pack), silent hill zero (play asia. finished the game and sold it. has one of the best opening credits song to date), silent hill 3 (hmv. i didnt finish this game on pc), silent hill 2 (play asia, silent hill is all about pain and loniness, fits my bill), metal gear solid 3 (james bondzy songs, from hmv). *not shown is the soundtrack of oblivion (i paid and download the soundtrack from elder scrolls website. burned it on a CDR).

here's my quake game collection (eh where is the quake 2 game disk !?!?!?) . quake's music was done by trent reznor, of nine inch nail fame or vice versa. this is the crucial alarm that fuses rock music into the gaming world, they are one. i had quake 4 but the game sucked so much. i recalled the days of OpenGL on dos, 3D gaming was at birth.

never gonna stop me

called FeDEX twice this morning. 8plus it's still at customs. 945am, my second call on the customer service line, my package has arrived changi south branch, but they're sorting out the packages. then mins later they called me .... my item is ready for collection.

you can drive your car into the FeDEX complex, this is the little corner for your collection, left to the main entrance. the staff who served me yesterday was there again so he knew which package i am here for.

the story .... this is my second time to FeDEX complex on 2 consecutive day. yesterday i was here to get my wife's package while mine was detained. the FeDEX crew at customs called me in the morning to advise that i need to apply for a approval from MDA for my game. this is the first time my item was halted. nicely i can make an application online at mdaonline.mda.gov.sg/index ....

my item arrived over xmas morning, it was ordered on eve and sent out within hours by playasia. but as xmas there were no service i had to wait til boxing day for delivery. coincidently my wife's package from USA arrived on the same day.

after the application online i had to submit my approval code to FeDEX while they wait for approval from MDA to release my item at the customs. at 5pm yesterday i called MDA and i could only find out that they were overloaded by bulks of approval and it slowed down their system. the helpdesk girl was kind enuff to help me expedite my item. at 1030pm my item went thru and was released by customs. strangely, MDA only work til 530pm, why was my item released at 1030pm ....

a yellow sticker that says "on hold". no sign of package being opened for inspection. overall a slight delay of 1day due to MDA issue regards to my item .... not much of a problem, gadly.

still yet to find out if the PS2 game FF3 has english subs .... we'll see.

have managed to sell plenty of my old vinyls. i have listed them on echoloft.com but no good response. met up with 1 fellow whom bought 2 disc and he directed me to another portion of the forum. and boomed .... half of my record collections were sold. most of the buyers grabbed in bulks. tho i very much wish to buy myself a turntable again someday but it's more sane to just go with the cds .... i shouldnt start another hobby, or revive this old flame of mine.

oblivion - i've bought guides for both the main game and shivering isles. downloaded all the expansion packs. bought t-shirts, bought the pc dvd rom version for the making of disc, clocked 800 over gamerscores .... my first official console game.
dead rising - i simply love zombie movies, and this game plays very much like a zombie slashing movie. love the chainsaw weapon, one great game running on havok engine.
gears of war - biggest 360 game ever? epic's best return to the scene.
forza mototsports 2 - i frankly prefer this over GT series. my only last racing game with all the exotic cars.
halo 3 - sucked to the love of master chief.
lego star wars the complete saga - goofy gameplay to have all the star wars lego characters that i can never complete in real life

metal gear solid graphic novel - just love the way the whole concept of digital graphic novel. plays like the old captain america cartoon series in the 70s. ashley wood's illustrations are pretty crazy.

after meetin my wife at the dental clinic, we had a xmas starbucks coffee b4 i left for another branch to get her the xmas penguin bear.

HMV next stop to get some goodies .... and more spotted. Led Zep Mothership, Scorpion's Deadlist Hits, both came with DVD. Emma Bunton first album ??? got it for that 3 catchy tunes. a Blu-Ray disc for scenery. was looking for that lefzep tee but they have 3 new SW lego tees, bought the one with the trooper.

next stop was Gamescore to collect my 360 Assassin's Creed. tho i have find WWE SvR 2007 too technical to game, the temptation of a free tee from the limited edition was overwhelming. Timothy and Jimmy helped me got a Large tee so i packed them up.

bought my EoJ package from Sony Style at Bishan Junction 8. looks like they have revamped and rename Sony Gallery to Sony Style, same name as their websites. and at night junshen message me at PSN that the standalone PS3 eye has been released locally. i had intended to get just the eye as i dont really wanna indulge in EoJ aka Eye of Judgement game.

pretty crazy month for 360/PS3 ....

a malaysian looking couple was walking towards the Tower when i was returning from lunch. they were attempting to try if they can visit the Tower. the police kindly told them a negative while i showed my pass for entry. in my younger days, i would like "u know obviously u cant enter this restricted area", but these days i "be in their shoes" and show compassion n have sympathy. AGE - AGING, does have an effect on our thoughts, maturity perhaps.

harp strings of Nana soundtrack resonates transits to orchestral beat of Metal Gear Solid 3 soundtrack in my iPod shuffle. elaine hasnt been able to play her harp, some strings were down, and we are dead broke to have he strings replace prioritized. money goes out, we suffer and enjoy .... instant karma.

i was reading story of Michael Hutchence over wikipedia, the rise and fall of a depressed hero. Bono n Simon Le Bon were his beloved friends, and i never knew Paula Yates had passed away.

hawkboy199 is selling his Lego Star Wars Saga 360 game on the boards. and he was selling Conan 360 game too. i never got to play the Lego Star Wars previously, tried the demo and it was tedious. And of course Conan the game was a banished decision, despite the nudity and violence and being banned locally for distribution. Rick told me near to Playboxx Tampines is another shop that sell games at good price too. i had a 2hr lunch break so i drove down for a peek-a-boo.

boy this shop S Power is super packed . mothers, sons, fathers .... boys .... all in steady queue to be served. i looked thru he shelve to locate my Star Wars Lego Saga, PAL version but checked and it's playable on my local 360. and on the PS3 section was Conan in foiled cover staring back at me.

boy's out at Rick's .... we touched on COD4, Rub-a-Duck, plenty of demo, and of which Conan was played. the mindless decap, slashing, barrel tossing, and bad video turned me on.

so i thought i'm gonna finish up Orange Box 2day, almost at the end of EP2 .... and magor time for me to give COD4 some desreved time, here comes 2 more games. next in line .... Assassin's Creed, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Kane n Lynch, Rock Band, Haze. a wonderful November .... and am i to forgive not buying my bass guitar, which obviously i wouldnt have or find time, and the misssing PS3 Eye.

been a GnR fan, neither a Stone Temple Pilot listening too. dont rem what i was listening when GnR came to the scene, but STP was surely outshined by Pearl Jam when grunge was heavy. guitar hero game francise brought me to the keen interest of slash n gang. yamaha's sellling their guitar package at a slashed price of 388 while the bass package goes down to 567. i'm dearly broke and in bad debt while my mind still eyes for a thing that i wont find time to concentrate ... to learn to play bass guitar or alternately play electric guitar.

with many games coming up for PS3 while 360 goes into a drought, i'm waiting for the not so useful PS3eyetoy.

people should die early. the earlier one dies, they will never get a chance to complain, to nag, and to display no love to this poor world. a world of selfishness each second it saddens me, alter my attitude. it's not my fault. it never was.

portal purrs when i held her last night. late but not too late, i did a check on my email. the cat welfare had replied to my request to put up an advert for portal's adoption. her own home had abandoned her. her new home cant keep her. now my home rejects her. she drank her water last night, for almost a minute long in the dark. my wife feared cats have tendencies of not drinking alot, which leads to kidney disease. i felt the dash of heart crush. it was a touching moment for me to see this poor cat drink last night.

origins entertainment had a spidy3 blu-ray advert on the papers 2day. i called them and the girl answered says the disc are now being distributed only available in the evening. will have to pay a high price to buy locally, but it saves the pain to wait for overseas shipping.

mac OS X leopard / megadeth / guitar hero 3

i arrived almost six and rick told me there's a queue outside a apple shop beside gamescore. i had intended to check it out to see if leopard will arrive at 6pm 2day. the first 50 in the queue gets the tee, and about 10 of these people when straight to buy leopard. some just left .... i got my 5 license for my 2 macbooks.

my second reason for coming funan was the lure of guitar hero 3 for 360. i had intended to just buy rock band for PS3 but the lure is strong.

and my final reason to be at funan, to meetup with rick and park our cars here for the megadeth concert at fort canning park. my ears still ring from the concert. dave mustiane was charasmatic as a lead .... and when his guitar raise for his solo, it was awesome. i only know the songs from this current album, which they played sleepwalker, washington in next, never walk alone and gears of war. the crowd chants for the band's antemns, head bang to the beat, raised the devil sign for the nth time. encore was 3 songs. a short awesome deafening concert for only 1hr40mins. when the band held hands to bow, we know we'll leave with the megadeth in the heart.

fragged by mabel in halo 3

looks like no recall to work for extra income 2day. had the worst 2 headaches for the past 2 days. i've been laxing with my day duties but when i got into the split shift system my tension headache was reconceived. or was it too much halo3?

i completed halo3 campaign on heoric difficulty yesterday. a total of 9 chapters, great (and i wouldnt choose the term insane) graphics thru havok engine, engaging storyline, fun-filled vehicular/spacecrafting gameplay filled my hollow heart with thrill. i was skeptical over the halo francise, dut halo3 had converted me to a new halo believer .... so looking forward to peter jackson's missing project on cinematic halo series.

there was this major bbq at "who's your daddy" khung hui's shack, major attendance of pple from work. i was offered plenty of pork from the bbq chefs .... still wondering why ?!?! me and rick left early as we had another prior appointment for a halo3 competition at cineleisure gaming hub that we had joined. we were teased not to be fragged by the 11yearolds, and the bbq will wait for us if we got fixed. so we anticipated plenty of teenagers to be the participants, we were dared wrong.

we arrived on time, meeting up with rick's cousin-in-law. dexter's mate prasso had other engagements so it's just the 3 of us. we were slotted a 10pm but out game only started at 1130pm. ok, no old folkies participants, they were there to support their children, which is a great sight, and my tnesion headache was killing me. dexter's girl (not daughter) came to support.

during the battle briefing we met our competitors, a 1for1 game, under the slayer mode, whoever has the highest kill score wins. we were in the state of shock, when the youngest participant, a girl nicked mabel was half my height, and maybe 4times younger than me.

three of the us, the noobs of 360 LAN gaming cant even bloody know how to connect to join the game. we were assisted by the organizers, we were priveledged to have our faces hidden from the viewers in public rooms, each by ourself. game on.


i did killed mabel, the 9 year old looking girl, and i felt guilty .... but the game ended with me with only 5 counts of kill and mabel had 6. the regining champ had 17 .... and rick and dexter didnt fare too well either. we left the complex not in shame, but to be proud we did it, we finished the fight. naturally we didnt procced to the next round, and we were rewarded a halo3 dog tag .... like rick said, "there'll always be a first time" ....

my life history for passed 2 years will go into dust when/if blogspot crashes/closes. fear of the unforseen, relying on the unknowned.

if there is a picture this is portal. portal is a 1year old cat my wife had adopted. she currently lives in her friend's apartment. the cat had another name previously, but her name was nullified when adopted. she hadn't had a name for a few days. where the cat has no name. i was playing the game portal from the orange box. this cat was always missing .... into the unknown. portal is a game of your character participating in a exeprimental environment. your are to open portal with a portal gun, right trigger fr a blue, left tigger for a orange. you jump into the portal, exiting via another portal, defying the law of physics. so i suggested to name her/this cat portal .... so this is portal the ginger cat. she's a shy fellow. i've yet to meet her personally.

if there is a picture it's a propellored plane. it's a tampico. i flew in it on sunday. bala had invited me n elaine for his currency flight. elaine wasnt feeling well so it was just me and bala. it departed from seletar, over to point whisky and back. quite an experience to fly on a smaller plane.

if there is a picture it's a black charge n play kit and my PSM. i wanted to buy just the black batt as i have a charge kit. this black charge n play kit is to compliment with my halo3 wireless controller.

the night is cold. my cam's lens frost in the car's air-con. what better chance but now to take artistist pictures of blurry image.

i sold my CSI : Hard Evidence to a fellow gamer who puts up at AMK. as i fin work 2nite at 11pm, it's just convenient for me to drop by after work b4 heading home. this game has 5 senarios or 5 crimes to solve if u like to call it, and completing each senario awards u 200 gamerscore. i am happy to achieve a 1000 gamerscore points from this game. the buyer had bought it for his wife. nit stellar graphics, but a pretty above average adventure game.

think this album came out awhile back, think there's some promo on it now. a drastic change from the last vulgar rap album they say, this one's completely mellow. plenty of love songs, and plenty of hiphop numbers. all in it's simplistic form, some are taiwan traditional, but all are very well arranged with great melodies. track 7, "goodbye" reminds me so much of a sunday church song. wooden chairs, green phamlets, overhead projector sing-a-longs .... and to my surprise track11 is a ballad version of the same song. i was not too comfy with the whole album when i first bought it .... and more listening and random runnign via the shuffle, i picked it up 2day for my travel music. awesome.

another dreamy picture? my 360 halo3 ireless controller. not too sure if i should get a black rechargeable batt pack, or should i just keep buying AA batteries?
