TOKYO Day 4 / HARAJUKU + AOYAMA PART 1

this room at sunlite shinjuku is super small. 5mins walk from shinjuku san chome station and 20min walk from shinjuku station.

the bathtub can fit a human with legs arched.

this is a 2person bed. this hotel was fully-booked so we couldnt get a queen bed. should have chose a twin bed ..... that should free up some space.

TOKYO day 3 / ROPPONGI and GINZA

We started the day with a guided tour at roppongi hills. a self-centered self sufficient estate with shopping bizness hubs art centres n residentials.

one of the many art pieces, this is the significant spider dedicated to all mothers .... designed by some 90 year old frenchie .... wishing for network within ropponghi hills

our guide leading us up to the secret lift of the garden.

scarecrow on the garden top. below the heavy garden is the cineplex .... visited by many famous movie premieres. this garden has it's own earthquake preventive measures.

we returned in the night for a city view at the mori observatory. my wife's steady hands works better than the night scene with the cam.

this is my wife at ginza. the roads are less bumpy.

we were the first customers. we were attended with top notch service. this lunch cost me slightly above SGD400.

TOKYO day 2 / SHIBUYA

key to the cramp room. this hotel we stayed is about 10mins walk to shinjuku subway station/ if u walk the correct path .... there are pleasures along the way ....

bister.jp .... not impressive inside. 3 levels. level 2 has the cooler star wars goodies.

1/6 project shop. my first visit in 2002 was facinating ....

this round i only grabbed a boba fett.

junie moon. blythe haven. this one is tough to find. lucky the shop had a directory whih my wife printed. located in a nice little town

TOKYO Day 1 / SHINJUKU

6hrs odd flight ANA to Tokyo .... arrived 420pm.

missed the scheduled train via JR .... i managed to changed my tics for the next train ....

taka close at 11pm but it was 10pm .... had suer late dinner then it's HMV haven.


my wife suggested taking a look at the shinjuku nitelife and it was worth a try .... neaby by was lumine .... my wife had a plenty great purchases when after walking here from the hotel.

ok time for a shower and head out for day2 : SHIBUYA

russian dolls

this is the 5th day of my cough. i just turned off the air-conditioning and i'm perspiring over my "the mission" t-shirt. i was trying to induce perspiration by going for a brisk/walk jog this evening at macritchie reservior. i only ran 1km nd i was out of breath. my body isnt ready for any exercise.

wednesday was the first day of cough.
thursday i had bad spells of fever.
friday i call in mc ....
saturday.
sunday .... i finished my cough syrup.

i just hope i'll recover by tues or wed itself. i might just go collect some anti-biotics from my company doc at the airport.

friday night i started my nw life with play.sg .... a 24hr video rental kiosk all over singapore. i fgure since i like HD movies, and for movies i'm not sure that i missed, i dont mind watching them on code3 .... so rental seems a sane way.

i've rented zodiac, notes on a scandal, diary, turistas, russian dolls. zodiac n turistas are good movies, but russian dolls is a real gem.

i was still getting used to reading subtiles to this french movie b4 it immense me to the character of the narrator .... a 30yr old writer's struggle to find a life partner.

i just sneezed. been trying not to for the whole day .... i dont want this spell of flu to go from cougt to fever to sore thoart to ulcer to running nose and back again.

more masked riders

went to the doc for some cough syrup, hope i'm not messing with a fever, gotta get healthy b4 tokyo .... 6 days later this time i should be on board a 767 setting off to narita with my wife. making dreams come true .... thru-out the years we make things happen, for this humble couple.

the cough syrup streams in my blood .... circulating .... the floating sensation affirms sleep easily.

mr kamenfreak advises that blister.jp is a US co, not a jap product. and if i cant find Masked Rider No.2 New i will wait for his shippment. below are what i got from him last night .... two 1/8 scale RAH 200DX by medicom.

masked rider fever heats up slowly

my mom's been coughing for the passed few months .... my cough returns .... gotta stay healthy b4 the tokyo trip .... guess i should rest moe and drink more water. twiggy's been vomitting and having soft stools. i suspect she's eating nonsense like flower petals and fallen spices at my in-laws place [bunch of pretenious shitheads] .... it's never easy to live with other humans .... this world is tainted by bad pple .... we need gods

my continous struggle to spend less and buy less magazines .... i really should just flip em at bookstores that will certainly reduce much expenses. bought this dvd "masked rider the first" at poh kim for only $7.90 .... this is the 2005 version of the classic masked riders / kamen riders i saw in 1979. my craze for masked riders rides on.

lonely planet tokyo 2006 version isnt as good as my last book that's published in 2001. i was recommended this bilingual atlas from another book .... the maps are more detailed here then other tokyo maps i found. gonna grab a city ma once i touch down narita.
