the wait for the resubmission for hacking the kitchen walls been pretty much held up by HDB .... in the meantime, time to source for some affordable lightings, a good shop we found is lightings.com.sg

below are my suggestions for various parts of the house.

i start from entering the house ....

this light i choose for the walkway at the main door entrance

the kitchen to the left .... there'll be lights on the kitchen cabinets

the yard beyond the kitchen

shares the same light as the bomb shelter

light outside masterbed room?

not a wide variety for simple lamps for the study and kids (lucas' bedroom) room

and finally my choices for the masterbed room, complimented with lights form the wardrobe .... and the ghost lamp for side table

snow leopard touched down

i purchased the snow leopard upgrade from leopard OS for $48. u'll need 2G Ram and intel chipset. there's also another set that cost $248 with iLife09 and iWorks09 meant for upgraders from tiger OS to snow leopard.

lt's pop in the disc and see how long it takes .... wait

took 1hours and 10mins to complete. dont feel any different from leopard so far.

i'm wrong, opening of "windows" are really faster .... nice

vaio w touchdown

adrian w came back from mongolia, the shopping centre happened to sell plymobil. he got me a copy ....

the long awaited vaio finally are in my hands. have always wanted a vaio, finally the wait is over. at $899, a netbook sony vowed not to produce, 2day i have one, the sony vaio w.

pre-ordered thru sony style 2weeks ago, scheduled to arrive 19to24 august, it came in 2day 1day early. comes in 3 colors to choose, white, pink and brown. pre-orders get a free pouch. in japan pre-orders get pouch, mouse, head-porter tote bag and mouse pouch.

call from sony came in at 145pm. 1 am to start work at 245pm. a quick bath, rushed down to sony at bishan J8 where i ordered. picked it and and zoomeed to work. 2day they only have 1 brown but the remaining stock will com 2mrw. as i was the first to order from this branch, i am lucky to pick my 2day.

2009, replacement phone and triad lola

this year isnt too much a year for me.

major strangeness to my mother's behavior.

car broke down, serious engine overhaul.

phone lost.

no promotion at work.

the last mis"event" makes me wonder how mediocre i am at work. a care-less and careless staff, never carried balls, never seen enuff at work, never over helpful, not a natural leader but a jester. well, wait is the only thing i can do, for next july for the next promotion season, b4 i get branded as condemned. have 2 air incident on my belt, i flex my bicep to flaunt, only to be the truth i am no good. so maybe i dress better, is that my fucking fault? see u next time, but in the meantime, time to hunt for a better job.

aside, this year is a beautiful year on a personal level. lucas brings greatest meaning to life. there is always hope, deep inside god continues to make me persevere what is tough for me but a stroll for others. lucas calls out while i'm blogging.

replaced my phone .... white version. the spare cover is pretty ugly with flowers on it.

and replaced my adi phone charm.

located lola by triad at CSC. $130. i think it's good price.

life is not about atc alone, i'm so entertained but so broke.

Sideshow Stormtrooper

as my mum continue to go mentally unsound, and the weather burns all pyschotic souls, i have the priviledge to open up my sideshow stormtrooper today.

have i been working hard, as in work alot of late, me the fucking lazy bastard, or age is right at my toes. exerciseless lifestyle certainly catch up on my stamina and mental endurance. taking 2days off this weekend for lucas' rotavirus oral appointment and a break from my stride is much required. and the opportunity to sit down and rip apart the sideshow stormtrooper at a steady pace is sure mind calming.

heaven has a place for those that follows god. but does god forgives christian sinners who are blinded and never repent? is blindness by the stresses of life an excuse to sin? only death will questions be answered. and will i fear slow death? will i forgive blind sinners?

poor lighting or lazy boy photography indoors on a DSLR results in shaky blur photos. i asked for it, lazy boy. i'll celebrate children's day anytime, the child in me will never grow old, but 2mrw is my first father's day. ok, so i bought some toys.

simple nice packaging, very american, but i really have no room to keep a box. best leave this boy in the box mint, but i'll love to meddle with it, move some joints, strike a artificial pose.

the usual gatefold, a neat design. ST bubbled up inside, neckless, like my brother.

that's all we get, the sideshow exclusive comes with the stun gun, a neat extra. but mine's the norm version.

the belt is quite neat to be a removable part. some of his armor is held up by the belt. it'll be good to modify this chap with more elastic bands to hold the armor in place. oh has the chest plate is bulky. besides the bulky chest plate, the pvc rifle holster is the parts i dislike of this figure. many of my pvc based figures are in disintegration phase.

the joints are indeed loose, looser than usually 12inch figures, but saying that it makes this baddie so playable. i'm glad i got it. the neckless portion isnt much a hassle as toy guru from toy haven has showed us how to deal with it. and thanks to shaun again for clarifying that the inner suit is cloth but not pvc material.

the blaster is similar to the sideshow new hope luke. this ST's one has slightly a little more color detailing.

no space means no space .... trash. cant wait to have my own space, then it's time to keep the cool boxes.
