head porter goodies + toro the cat

bought a mouse for my vaio w. decided to settle for a $19.90 mircosoft mouse instead of the vaio mouse at $79. when i got home, i came to know the model of the sony mouse are the ones they issue for pre-order of the vaio at japan. but in japan they'll have matching colors with your vaio w, from brown to pink to white.

still this microsoft mouse is very cool, it blinks red at the orange side when plugged in.

and in japan the pre-order of the vaio comes with head porter magazine bag and a mouse pouch. my wife was right i'll be dwelling into this in no time.

samuel had mentioned a shop near orchard boulevard that sells headporter stuff. a little search i located the shop to be surrender. think were were formerly at far east plaza. the shop is located at devonshire road 119, parking is a major problem.

nice slogan

bought a sling bag .... $320

and a long awaited new wallet at $120

a comparison in size between my old M wallet with the new L wallet. the old wallet has been thru the thick n thins.

my HP guarantee cards ....

visited iluma. watched a 3D360 theatre for $5 each. we were in time for a horror screening. a 3D glasses was issued. fits pretty well, better then the paper one i had for my bloody valentine 3D blu-ray. pretty fun. the rest of the building seems pretty dull with a huge space. got my toro cat game for ps3 at the comics connection outlet.

thriller25 cd

arrived hmv at 1030pm. parked free at the open air carpark beside california gym. just a short while they announced closing of hmv. bought thriller 25 cd. just realized they didnt give me a free poster. heheh. i'm not a MJ fan, but the songs in this album reminds me of 1982 when police and MJ and culture club and duran duran were hot in the grammies. and i'm right about hot toys, they will release thriller wcko jacko. the the price will be steep.

sideshow darth vader + playmobil

am a little disappointed of picking up the hulking Darth Vader by sideshow toys. the previous 2 figures, utapau clonetrooper and stormtrooper had used hot toys inner body but vader this round dont share the logo on it's box. must have been just a generic sideshow body, but at a huge size.

another disappointment will be the suit that will prob disintegrate over time, just like the medicom vaders. but can i not buy this new induction?

this figure comes with some extra hands, mine's the normal so i dont have the choking glove.

the box itself towers over the stormtrooper box. but really, does it warrant a $225 pricetag? glad i got mine at simply toy's member discount.

vader likes to show u his belt. plenty of pvc used. sigh. finishing is alittle raw overall.

his central system is held up by pvc suspenders. u might wanna make some adjustment if it''s not centralled.

here's a comparison with the 2 troopers, vader is a head taller. maybe i'll take out my medicom figures but i know their height will be put to shame.

mr bean makes another cameo.

the chain on his cape will likely be sucked into his neck so do peel it out carefully. i love the look of this helm, pretty detailed.

it's a great figure no doubt, but medicom has it's ups as well, the removable helm on diff vader (Ep4 and Ep3 versions) especially. great start for any new 12inch or 1/6th collector who wants a vader in their profile.

buy at own risk.

my wife got me this ghost figure by playmobil with her vivo vouchers. this fellow glows in the dark like my previous ghost but my old one is a old man while this playmobil has a skeletal suit and gory face. essentially, playmobil was my fave toy line as a kid. i'll make up storylines and episodes to follow. hope lucas will be into them when he grows older, a young director, just like before his father was.

wwe 25 anni blu-ray, GH Smash Hits, psp rock band unplugged

took only 14days via amazon to deliver this. nice

GH smash hits hit the streets 2day, $76 at funzcentre. saw rock band unplugged for psp, tempting me on the shelf, last piece on the rack, so i grabbed it as well.

while looking for the soldout "taken" blu-ray, i found a local "unborn" blu-ray. didnt know we've watched this movie already, but it's ok to keep a horror disc anytime.

sony ericsson W508

been travelling on the circle line so frequent since it's opening. 2day they have a party in within the station itself. cast of little nonya were there at 11am. i happened to pop by an still catch some nonya celeration. tis pix taken on my new phone, the W508.

back to my roots of a clamshell phone. i trade in my W902 at $210 due scratches and dents and bought the phone b4 deduction at $468 from SE at bishan. the phone comes with a 1G m2 card so i bought a 4G one. i've traded in my m2 card reader 2gther as a full package with my phone so i choose a 4G card with a m2 reader. elaine likes this minute card reader.

fell asleep when mellim smsed me. he came to deliver 2 blu-rays. pessengers at $45 and terminator serial at $42. great price. i didnt had change and he discounted another dollar.

saw and heard about this blu-ray sold at the forum. saw it at Gramophone but bought it $10 more at HMV together with the tee. i had wanted to get this tee, nice to wear it as an air traffic controller, flight 666 banner, now the circle is half complete, cos i might just get the cd soon.

the attraction for the circle line is the view of the tunnel. many pple are so amazed by this horror tunnel. u dont get to see this on the normal lines but it's a open view on either end of the circle line train. the circle line has 3 carriages each and it's 1 minute from my marymount station to bihsan. i travel on the circle line everyday. amazing and true.

bye molar

the dentist at AMK Hub Denticare said my root problem have at least 8mths history. it's true. i had a real bad sensitive tooth early last year then i had to skip the wake of my friend's dad. it was temp solved by a specialist and i rejected a root canal despite having a appointment.

last december it hit me again, and abcess has grown on the affect lower first right molar. and then the filling fell off.

and with so much ba kua over CNY makes me heaty and the abcess didnt heal

just last week i went to cover up the fallen filling from my local dental and i was again recommended a specialist to solve the root problem. i wanted to delay it as it cost quick hefty so i went to get anti-biotics and anti-swell medi from the GP. it was almost healing.

this afternoon my mum offer me nice BBQ chicken from the neighbourhood  cooked food stall and she cautioned me there are tiny bones embedded.

i heard a crack sound when the chewed chicken rolled from left to right of my mouth. the bone pierced thru a older filling and upon inspection i think my tooth broke and i can physically move a portion of the tooth. i ponder in horror.

i called the local dentist and they say yes please come see them again. i've done some research of a possible cheaper root canal at NTUC denticare so i tot why not start fresh there.

appointment at 3pm but only 445pm was my turn. there was an emergency hence. the dentist recommended me to go back to the recommended specialist from my local dental so he'll do a temp touch up. i have brought along my x-ray and he recognized its been delayed.

and to he's dismay and my suspicion, my affected tooth had broke by the chicken bone indeed. no root canal can save me now. so was this fate advantages to me financially?

2 jabs and some cream my molar came out in three pieces. i did feel the yanking on the 2nd and 3rd piece guess my tooth was planted well. the dentist distracted me by telling me certain things during the extraction, and he kept checking if i'm ok, and to raise my left hand if any pain. i did once.

no rising mouth for 1week. swallow everything incl blood and saliva. no brushing of teeth til 1day night later. 45mins to change my gauze if still bleed. and no strenuous exercise.

i was given 2days of MC + have to be on soft cold food.

as due to to the abcess my wound might take longer to heal. i've not taken the ponstan since the extraction, it's 4hrs already. so far so good, hope it stays that way.

well, bye bye to my molar, will need to go for stitch removal in 1weeks time. and from there decide on an implant or a 1tooth denture by 1year.

hot toys naked body

bought this figure this afternoon b4 work at action city. i saw this naked body by hot toys last night but contemplated if i should get. then i realized i got a set of clothing from the 2-in-1 supe and clark kent + a tony stark head sculpt i could instantly hook up a kitbash, so i went back to get it.

i brought 3 heads, a skull, the set of clothing and spare hands to try them out at work during my break.

this figure is a 2008 version with a not so-like tom cruise head. it's pretty easy to remove the packaging by ripping the unsealed bubble pack.

however the neck is tough to remove. i needed to remove the low swivel ball and change to the neck portion. needed a tool.

tried out 3 bashes .... the sketzombie headsculpt, the clark kent, and finally tony stark. ok that's not a sketzombie headsculpt. but if i'm not wrong it was a early 3zero's SDU uniform set [late 90s] that comes with a headsculpt by michael lau and no body. need to verify.

tony stark's dont fit well into this generic hot toys neck cos it's meant for the iron man transparent ball joint.

also i had some fun with the skulls.
