walkaround for file transfer from pc to KG800 chocolate

after linking the Chocolate to the windows puter via usbwire, selected folders of the phone were accessible as a removable disc via "my computer".

but when i launched LG contents, i failed to connect to the phone via either usb linking. after pairing the phone again via bluetooth with the pc, again only the same few folders were accessible via "my computer" but LG content failed to connect still.

this failure of linking the LG content to the phone results in problem transfering pictures and ringtones from the LG content folder to the choclate.

before i go into the phone's possible forums, i came out with a walkaround to transfer ringtones and picutres to the phone.

the folders in the phone available for file transfer are 1.music 2.text 3.images 4.photos 5.photos 6.others

here's the walk around:-
(walkaround written on an apple without reference with the pc on site)

1. link phone to your computer via the accompanying usb wire.
2. pop up on computer [pc] shows usable folders fo transfer and access.
3. launch LG content
4. select images/pictures or ringtones from LG Content and test them
5. take note of location/address of the item u wanna transfer from the panel above.
6. proceed to location of the file u need via my computer and do a copy and paste the item on the respective phone's folder [removeable /:F]
7. for ringtones, paste the files on folder "others"
8. for wallpapaer, paste the file on folder "photos"
9. u can also paste your own mp3 as ringtones on folder "music"
10. unplug usb wire
11. access the chocolate's menu .... open "my stuffs"
12. select "others" and u'll see the transfered ringtone in this folder. play song and select "option" u'll see now it's possible to maket this file as ringtone.
13. select "photos", open photo and "options" u'll find it possible to make photo as wallpaper now.

hope this walkaround helps.

my left thumb has a guitar sore. not that i play the guitar, rick's guitar is still in my house. it's been loaned to me for 1year and i've only practise less than 10times.

dreamtime dreamtime. dreamtime dreamtime. the only time untouched that's mine. i will have my dreamtime.
i will wear my hair long, my hair long, my hair long. the extension of my heart, i will wear my hair long.

droved to sengkang to secure a $50 deal thru yahoo auctions for ridge racer 6 on xbox360. this is my fifth element.

gate

we're not getting our pay 2day. i'm at my last drop.

UPS called me while i was at work. delivery guy says there was no answer at my door. i wasnt told via mail they are coming 2day. i wasnt even sure my express mail was sent out. due to the high volume and invaluablity of my items, UPS suggested leaving my packaged consealed behind my home's shoe rack.

i skipped gym [i was mentally prepared 2day] and rushed home to secure my items.

the oblivion is in full circle and the gate has opened ....

own goal

bought a couple of magazines passed 2 days. top left clockwise:- EGM Singapore, SWI, OXM US, Hot Stuff, Gameaxis.

gameaxis used to be a free newsletter from comic shops and game shops. this issue they have a price tag. SWI has 4 diff covers, i would like to have the count dooku cover but kino taka only have this emperor version and another vader cover. not in picture is playworkz, another local game magazine that i might follow as a regular ... and with region coding for xbox 360, i will skip OXM US version on a regular basis as the accompanying disc is coded ntsc-u/c, not friendly to my console which is a ntsc-j version, a local set.

finished reading EGM singapore while i waited for my wife on a private sale at hong leong building. some discoveries are:-
1. paris hilton made a n appreance for her game intro at E3
2. simon bisley doing halo comic
3. silent hill 0rigins is spelt with a zero rather than a "o" for the word "origins".
4. xbox live arcade might have galaga soon.
5. i might not dash to buy ps3 after all as the launch games are not impressive.
6. singapore should have ps3 in jan 2007.
7. there is a unbreakable lockpick reward in one of the Oblivion quest.
8. more downloads coming up for Oblivion .... Dragonfire Castle and Deepscorn Hollow.
9. Oblivion will have a huge expansion which is in the works.

missed the match that england played paraguay last night. thay had a lacklustre victory by a own goal from the opposition in the first 3mins. 1-0 final score. silent hill n omen were like 6.5/10 movies.

n3

after 2 week absence from gym, 2day's workout on my weak muscles results to comfort strains.

gamescore called me just b4 i changed for my flex session. my reservation has arrived. ninety nine nights. i'll come in an hour i told them.

n3's launch was on the life section of the papers 2day, was quite surprise of it's publicity. shop next to gamescore saw me when i was browsing in their shop for faceplates and they acknowledged my new xbox 360 game acquisition. he said this game is like the most anticipated game for 360 platform.

n3 deluxe at retail price SGD69.90. awesome. faceplate is japan version from G1, shop next to gamescore.

back cover.

sealed up box. n3 in red foil print.

the ultimate battle between light and darkness.

2 tees in this deluxe set

dont really fancy the thin crew neck. notice the 360 logo on sleeve.

white tee too have the 360 logo on sleeve + another n3 logo on end of shirt.

new face plate fixed.

this saturday will be another horror movie weekend. will have to catchup with the remake omen and silent hill.

road to oblivion

i was called ugly as i walked down the path to Cheydinhal from Burma last night by a passerby. fighting daedras and skeletons and harassment from timber wolves and bandits is like a everyday thing. at level13 now, a lizard bard that wields a blade and have little knowledge of alchemy isnt easy life in Tamariel. i was a lizard in star wars galaxies too, a practising droid engineer trandoshan to be exact. here in the game of oblivion, i'm a argonian, a lizard again, a roleplayer race that has little advantage over the rest of the superior ones. but i do have one trait above the rest as a reptile, the ability to breathe in water .... which is great fear-overcoming, something that i'm never good in RL [real life]; swimming.

oblivion, possibly the best game for 2006 ??

so my switch from pc gaming to console gaming has entered the 3rd week. my wireless xbox 360 controller batts went dry last nite.

there is no turning back between me and oblivion [ok, like many things i'm easily a fan]. i am a sucker for merchandise. when u get me excited and intrigued by one theme, i'm in total involvement. after buying oblivion on xbox360, i then bought the prima guide book. i downloaded the game music from www.directsong.com, and bought the pc collector's edition of oblivion in order to get the replica coin, another more elaborated manual, a map [oh how i wish it was produced on cloth like baldur's gate], a making of dvd and a "guide to the empire" minibook. i want the t-shirt too but the shipping got too crazy.

i've negelcted my swg of late and dreamfall is stalled in my laptop. on random i'll play GRAW n PGR3 on my kickass upright standing 360, but every sleepless nites and every rest hour is dedicated to oblivion. in 2 days N3 will be available locally, it'll be another sidekick for my 360 showcase and profile .... for now, nothing gets in my way between reality and my road to oblivion.

4

the da vinci code movie was better than xmen3. am all eager for the upcoming movies like omen remake, silent hill and nun. me and my wife are such horror freaks.

bought my second xbox360 game yesterday :- projectgothamracing3. i am not a car enthusiast, more interested in car mods, perhaps i should have bought need4speed: most wanted on xbox360 instead, the game has option for car mods, but i do have it on pc which plays sluggishly, so to have a game on 2 platforms is bit wasteful .... hence a temp driving game choice [while waiting for test drive unlimited] but with more realism in car handling; pgr3 over ridegeracer6 on 360 option purchase.

tho i am not rich, there are bound to be regrets over our purchases over the years in our lives, but every successful buys or regretable losses = an invalubale experience. self console but ultimatley true. acquiring an item is always a great happy impluse.

bought my first ever futbol jersey with name n number printed. had to wait for close to an hour for it to be printed. was contemplating over no.7 with beckham name or no.4 with gerrard name. my wife suggested no.4 being my fave number and gerrard from liverpoolfc suits great. happy chaps.

we were late for a bad rerun of "infection" on dvd which i bought at gramaphone 2gether with "constantine" double dvd. i was skeptical over "infection", a code3 dvd, as i cant seemed to locate the code1 version now locally [when u need things they go disappear], but this rerun was bad makes it worth a waste on code3.

wore my jersey proudly like a kid for thai dinner at thomson. what's a good dinner or a good snack without a great company .... nothing beats having it with my wifey.

tension headaches

woke up at 2pm with another tension headache.

the constant change in shift working hours makes me dislike my nite duties.

havent got time to go into swg and my shop online is certainly soldout of droids. just lazy 2day.

my new LCD tv, swiveled not hanged.

the modified region free dvd receiver. now i can watch star wars saga in with 5.1 feature.

20year old hi-fi shelf from ikea. my mission speakers from my under-used hi-fi has to make way.

only 1 game loaded and some downloaded traliers and demos from xboxlive in the harddisk.

component connection is the only way to go.

oblivion

days of electronic gaming got revived in my life, tho in a very differnt form.

i've always been very much a skeptic of console games. my wife got me a psp last year and it was like the coolest gadget u wanna be spotted with. this year it's the year i gave up on pc gaming altogether. i might still have a relatively fast laptop running at 3.2GHz with 1G Ram, but my 128Mb VRam seems obelete and cant run FPS or realtime strategy in full glory. i love eye candy .... i need jerkless gaming .... even StarWarsGalaxies lags in Mustafar and it's deemed unplayable.

enter the new realm .... console gaming. i bought a Premium Xbox360 along with a 26inch Sony Bravia that comes free with a simple home theatre sound system. what i cant do on my laptop i can now on the new machine. the very sameday i got oblivion on 360 .... gone are the days of slowmo cut scenes and the rendering is awesome, not to mention oblivion is like the best game in town now. my next target .... PS3 .... now with the LCD tv running on component connections with HighDefn, life is never the same again. one set back is not the size of my room that cant "make cool" this Sony Bravia with the xbox360 combi but rather the free DVD receiver was Region3 fixed. i've sent it for decoding and hope it works, especially when all my dvds are Region1.

my last attempt on pc games is above, dreamfall: the longest journey. this game very much reminds me of my good ol favoruite pc adventure games like GabrielKnight3, Pantasmagoria, 11th Hour etc. i'm still at the early stage of this game and enjoying most moments of it, just like i find oblivion very intriguing. there's this ape doll that speaks with a low voice, he's a watilla doll by the name of wonkers. somehow it touches me, i can feel his lonliness.

HWM is a zine i keep stopping to buy. this issue features some LCD high Defn tv that i'm gonna be keen. last saturday there were 6 copies of oblivion guide, i was contemplating on purchasing it. 2day there's only 1 copy left so i had no choice to pay for it without my wife's kinokuniya member discount. ok 4 wave5 SW saga figures from Falcon's Hangar and kind Roy let off a Greedo to me to breakup his set. nice fellow.

more picutes of my bravia when my dvd receiver returns.

stop it and mission impossible

rather a mission impossible but we made it within time. s'posed to meet a buyer for my wife's bearbricks 1230 tiong bahru plaza. but since i was early, i went to pick my wife at 1210 and rushed down and buyer arrived on time. headed to tsuru tsuru for a 15min lunch at liang court; chilli pork udon and hurried to get tickets at the cathay for mi:3. too bad the speakers got busted so no digital sound but despite, the movie was simply absolute. all action from front to end .... i had to keep my pee til end of show and my wife enjoyed watchin every min when maggie q was on scene.

cathay grand looks much like a opera house ....

time to stop it! too many puchases again. 2x han ugh [ultimate galactic hunt], first magazine that i dont follow, bape spring/summer ver 1.1, hotsutff may, play may issue that features rob zombie and a anakin ugh. all from kino and taka liang court. we had too much at crystal jade la mian/siao long pao and head home happily.

signs not coincidence

i was at HMV locating a cantonese cd and i popped over to the jap section and saw a HK version of the "beef or chicken" by terriyaki boyz and it's 1/3 the price i paid for a japanese pressed. i cant buy everything in this world, so many times i have to exercise ELIMINATION; and say if this HK version were there for me to choose from the japanese version at that time when i was contemplating on getting it, i might have picked the HK version and feel regret thereafter when this band sounds darn good .... and a jap pressed version is def a more superior quality, which i surely want .... that's what i seek in life -- quality baby!!!

ranking of CD quality (from best to worst) based on country of pressing:-
1. jap
2. US
3. UK
4. Sing
5. EU
* no comments on other not listed countries.

mee siam dry was not available from my neighbour provision kiosk this morning so i bought nasi lemak for my wife's breakfast. she had to bring this calender to work so she left the calender on the dinning table when we consume the earliest food. a grain of nasi lemak somehow find it's way on the calender and landed on april 13. april 13 was a thursday and i recalled we watched horror show that very day. but what else was significant on the number 13?

my wife sms-ed me while i was at work during lunch time. terriyaki boyz and nigo was in the Life section of 2day's papers. the article spelt the "beef or chicken" cd acheived great success in the land of rising sun and decided to release it in other countries. the article on on page 13.

koto

after visiting MSK SW corner again yesterday, my wife asked the sales assisant if she could take a close look at a kotobukiya Sandtrooper, and followed by the 501st clonetrooper, then one by one the rest. i've never been into kotobukiya products but i must say i am impressed by the detailing. a day later .... at china square flea market .... i bought a new toy ....

my father's been buying things

my father's been buying things since his retirement. he's worked hard and i'm glad i'm seeing him relaxing .... meeting void deck oldies .... hanging out .... and he's just got a new replacement cover for his mobile phone. sometimes when he asked if i like to eat certain food, i'll let him buy for me like when i was young. like my father, i understand him inside enjoying the service of "providing".

after my gym, clad in not very sporty outfit and SAF trackshoes, headed FEPlaza and got the above form SimplyToys.

tom and jerry

the zombie family [currently comprises me n my wife] "the cathay : picturehouse" over the weekend for a arty show. b4 the show we drove thru the carpark and there was jerry the mouse and tom the cat. the building isnt completely functional hence the reason for rodent and feline to special guest as occupants for the time being.

eh, my new R2 from Toys R Us b4 my petrol top up this evening. my craze for SW toys has completely revived but still on the mode of subjective purchase [opposite of completetist].

anyway, great plans for the weekend so far ....
1) another test trip to my wife's new work place
2) boy eats girl, movie
3) msk, the return of
4) chelsea vs liverpool

guess i'll need to visit fareastsquare and the flea market for my usual rounds and hopefully some good sun for our digital shooting again.

think i need some supper 2nite.

msk

my first visit to the cathay to watch "hostel" .... all bout sex, gore and vindication.

also my first visit to the infamous MSK .... metrosengkang. nice of them to have a replica/bust corner catered for the adult boys at the toys section
