i had revved up to only 113km/h [according to the tracking meter] and the WRX spotted me b4 i have visual with the blinking blue lights on the expressway shoulder. i hit my brakes and return to the lane2 and drove passed them slowly. behind my rear view mirror the traffic police remain still. after about 200m i see them speeding up seemed heading somewhere.

so they stopped me. "what's is your rush, do u know how fast you were travelling?". i answered with little hesitation, "110km/h". "are u rushing off to somewhere?" i said no, "just travelling". "have u been drinking?", "nope, i just finished work and i'm rushing home to sleep, i got nigth duty later", i finally came out with an excuse.

i had a bad record last month, a warning letter from the traffic police for speeding. and i was wondering if i had not slow down n took a side track to skip them, would they have capture my data tru my ERP device.

my thoart is damaged. it's not a sore, but rather the feel of a pain like a muscle swell. it's worst when i sneeze, it'll like tear my thoart. i've been drinking plenty of water, but when i sneeze all the work is gone. just sneezed.

need for speed carbon was rejected from my purchase list just b4 the game's launch in late october. i downloaded the demo on Live and the graphics n framerate sucked bigtime. i was so keen on the collector's edition til the demo screwup. but i thought, it'll be cool on my pocket not to get anotehr game. 2 months later, after my rearlip, and more gametime on ridge racer 6, the heat came back and i bought the game 2nite.

i had to choose 3 cat, from exotic to muscle to tuner. this choice should path my unlocks later in the game. tho i like the handling of exotics, but i would love to drive the jap cars to the lambos n lotus so i took tuners. the graphics are pretty insane, tho nothing matches GoW or anything you'll see in PS3, the framerate n graphics was so much improved from that lame demo. it's now playing what i couldnt do on pc when i had NFS Most Wanted. so glad i got this game.

everyman needs to handle some screws sometime, this is a great tool, weighs well in your hand too, if u get my drift.

i like to stock up necessities when i'm rich. cos when i get broke n dailies expire it's tough to look bad. after my dental i ought to replace my aging toothbrush so i was hunting fot multipack oral Bs. multi pack can come cheap but they'll bundle cheaper models.



bringing twiggy alone to the vet was alright. but she puked when i stopped the car. guess it's motion sickness since i used the pet taxi crate instead of her royal purple baggie. twiggs growled at other dogs at the vet at bukit purmei. vet's a young chap n the recept's a saucy eloquent lady.

i told myself to check my storage if i still have one toothbrush spare, i'm real stingy when it comes to food n necessities. n truly, after getting buy3get2free generic oralBs, i found i have one superior one waiting at home for me. gave one toothbrush to my dad as inteneded, n i'm gonna choose red for my current brush. i love red, like cherry F&N, taste sweet.

got my $4 voucher from gamescore for they have altered the price for Lost Planet. collected my art book that came in different shipping as the game. n EDGE .... buying magazines again ???

a swift wind blew n now i'm hunting for a psp game .... might target rideg racer 2 or killzone liberation.

devil inside

my rear lip i ordered from MKY took 3weeks instead of 10days to arrive via sea. finally got it fixed this morning after work near his block at the multi storey carparkat tampines. took an hour, with a guest cat who favours my company.

my front lip was done by him quite awhile back, got busted at the carpark of a hotel, n got it patched by old friend hwee boon, whom now takes charge of his father's car paint spray n repair workshop at sin min. it's nice to have him as an alliance, on car accident matters n such. i have avoided driving near his workshop, because many times it became a bad omen to visit him soon after. at least 3 occasions i remembered.

i've added a muffler tip i bought from autobacs this evening. feel strange without a exhaust tip.

my wife smsed me this afternoon, informing me she'll be extending another day stay at PJ KL. looks like i gotta bring twiggy to the vet alone 2mrw at PAWS. she'll be getting her 3rd vaccination. she's 4mths old now.

with my wife away i took a chance to hang out with my 2 nephews, don n emmanuel, took them for a short drive around the neighbourhood. and too, time to catch up with some gaming. my 5hrs sleep isnt helping, but my mind seems at ease 2nite. yep i do missed my wife .... hope we'll spend some quality time over xmas dinner. my devil tattoo on my right chest. i've got 4 tatts so far, would like to have a star tattoo someday.

i posted in www.bob.com.sg/forum to sell off Viva Pinata + the faceplate and Project Dark Zero 360 games as i was not having enuff time for them. i got an sms in 30mins and the deal was sealed. met this guy and his girlfriend at Far East Plaza since i needed to check on Bape Workshop within the building. had got the address this time, the last hunt was unfruitful and i began to ponder if i heard my colleague Khong Hui correctly. there was this cool Bape Gold Member Tee at $229. was at the verge of getting it but the plans for the day saved me with worthy purchases.

it nice to see the smile on the buyer's girlfriend when they got my viva pinata. it's a joy to pass your games to the next person who gets it at a budget price, tho i havent got any 2nd hand games yet.

Hooked on Fish at Sin Min Plaza was full. i brought my folks there for dinner 2day without reservation and it was not cool. we proceeded to Zui Fairprice Seafood for a set dinner, glad my mom loves the fish, tho my wife said the food was so-so. bad budgetting so i'll have to reduce my birthday dinner treat from Jurong Hill Tepanyaki to Hooked on Fish next month, shouldnt be a bad trade-off since the crowd was hungry for this stall.

my projection with Microsoft's Money 2001 says i wont be rich for the next few months. i used to buy the latest Microsoft Money to project my finances. maybe if i get Money 2007 my life will change.

i arrived CSC at 5pm. was happy to locate SideShow Darth Maul 12inch at U-toys. tho box was dented but it didnt matter as i'm gonna take toy out to play with it. the price was right. i inspected the face and rushed off happily to pick up my wife. elaine was jhappy with my purchase and we got pretty interested in Sidesho's line altogether, despite me being a loyal medicom fan. now i'm all enticed by anakin sith version, gonna do some research. my first SideShow figure was a 12inch Kit Fisto from KL's Uncle Loong Toys.

not another 360 game b4 Lost Planet? PDZ was newly priced at $39.90. i would love to get the collector's edition of this game but it's tough to find a first hand now at retail so i'll settle for this new range of Plat version. aha Famitsu xbox Jan issue. comes with Lost Odyssey demo disc.

i've seen 2 colleagues took slow stride along the corridoors of the office late at night. back then i wondered if they were just bored. but i figured they could be sorting out their minds from problems in lives.

i've lost my smile. happiness are short pulses that subside in hours [my tension headaches last longer than happiness, ironically]. pain and suffering will live with us til our last breath; i consoled my mother, so why worry, but i just cant get this idealogy into my head. the king of pain is no king if i cant endure. quest n quests continuously challenged me, for i was once self-pronouced strong has gone weak for many years.

there is no hiding at work. i failed to find a spot i could sit to rest my disturbed mind. i resort to "getting busy" to bury the worry. i did suceed in not throwing my phone or kickin a steel plate o vent my frustration.

i was born weak and i grew up worrying the slightest. God pampered me with little failure as i was brought up.

time to change .... when i am complete, i will tackle all pain that comes head on. if i pray hard, God will be there.

it's a kind of magic

redoing an an film can sometimes make a good classic film bad. there are fans of the untouched classic star wars and there are happy fans of the 2004 version of starwars original trilogy. i am a fan of both and i accepted the new version. but for the outsiders, adding 50s music was a mistake, and reinserting the deleted scenes to resemble it closer to the novel makes the this movie loose it's magic.

we visited pet safari by pet lovers centre at vivo city this evening 2gether with twiggs. there is a members 15% discount til 3dec for opening sale if u purchase $15 and above. my wife changes her wallet once in awhile so we didnt bring along the card. the counter guy despite this still gave us the deserved. staff were helpful in helping us choose puffy food n toys and twiggs felt welcome by many puzzled eyes. the sad part is the premise wasnt as big as we tot, about the size as in East Point in Simei.

i left the Shell Petrol Kiosk at Bukit Timah Road and while i made a turn towards Lornie Road a big black Lexus MPV flash his high beam on me protesting me of being slow. i decided to slow down while the driver continued to harrass, tailgate and flashing his lamps. instead of speeding up i put on my hazard lights and he had distance off. looks like i found a way to keep these normal pple away from a psycho like me. i finally filtered off to my exit and left him far behind wondering, was it not my day he asked?

without completing Superman Returns the Videogame, i sent it for a trad-in for F.E.A.R. at Gamescore. had this bad headache that i had to stop gaming at 12am. F.E.A.R. might have been last year's best shooter on pc format. this direct port to 360 didnt seem to fare that well in terms of graphics and the scare tactics have lost to their very own later product called Condemned: Crimal Origins. F.E.A.R. also runs on the Havok engine, which i will give high praises for, i just hope the game will turn out better as i proceed.

technically F.E.A.R is my first FPS on 360. my 17th game on 360.

my flats are being constructed in a steady pace. the highest building now stands at 16floors.

the december issue of Game Informer brings no good to me. i had long gave up on F.E.A.R on 360 format after testing the demo, but with the review it brings me back to basics to get me all intrigued and wanna try the game.

my wife just messaged me that she'll need to go to PJ in selangor in mid december. glad a female colleague will be tripping with her.

my hd dvd addon drive for the 360 finally arrived after a month's wait. this is a japanese version. and here's my viva pinata faceplate that i am entitled with the purchase of the limited edtion of the game. the faceplate came only yesterday while i got the game earlier. and of course, i cant resist superman returns the videogame, tho i'm not much of a DC comics fan, this game is pretty cute.


as my instruction sheets were in japanese, i was pretty worried if the HD DVD would match my local 360. i ran thru some video guide on the net b4 hooking it on.

the set comes with it's own power supply, a usb cable to hook the player to the usb port of your 360, a jap universal remote, and a installation disc. i plugged the power, hook up the 2 via usb, and power up both equipment. only when i insert a HD Dvd disc i was prompt to update the player. the update was done over with xbox live so the disc was meant for customers whom were not live enabled.

i tried 3 of my disc, and watched House of Wax for the nite, perhaps not as crisp, cos this movie was done in 2005, i'm sure MI3 and Batman Begins would appear awesome. sounds was as reported as i dont have a HDMI connection, i needed to tune up for a louder bomb. overall, the experience made me complete.

havent got time to play viva pinata. since finishing GoW, i've been resting my gray matter, watching old dvd and sleeping earlier.

my new pass pink holder MIJ, playstation official and WIRED. gonna start follwing WIRED as my regular zine. 's time i grow up. knowing that i'm getting alittle bonus extra, i brought my wife to kinokuniya taka for alittle shopping and omu rice.

me and couple of colleagues decided to meet up at T1 canteen for breakfast after our nite duty, and then to change our airport pass for the new biometric upgraded version. me, NCL n HT were quick and we arrived the pass office at 830am, so we were told "we're not opened yet". smartly me and HT proceed to RMG to get our annual audiogram done. when we returned, there was like hundreds of low-lifes in the queue.

many uniformed airport staff had decided to change their pass 2day. less then 10 of us now, we were in the middle and the doors finally opened at 915am. ok, the airport boss had priority, yes he's a busy man and he had to come down personally to get his fing prints recorded. it took us til 1130am to reach the front of the queue. bogged down by failure of the computer, poor technical support that couldnt get IT up, digi cam problem, mixed up sequence, VIP priorties, caused a massive delay. some good hundred of pple were rejected ultimately; a complete freaking failure i say. by time i collected my pass, it was 1230pm, bloody time for lunch.

if i could have waited at the pass office door at 0830am, the 3 of us could be number 123. we could have finished at 10am perhaps. there was a nice high post officer who did came from the back door for a quick route, but he was understanding enuff to speak with us, listen to our frustrastion, talked to the fool department of what's going wrong. he also gave us a go ahead to go infront of him, but we kindly rejected his kind offers. unlike some VIPs, who cant get his shoulders straight, had took 6 pictures so he wont look stupid in his airport pass. ultimatley got booed off by the whole room of impatients.

i deserve a new airport pass holder after losing sleep. HT had sacrificed his dogs' hunger to wait in the queue. one manager of ours had to leave the queue after stayed for 3hrs cos he gotta go to work by 1pm.

word of advice for changing your airport pass? come after your nite duty or off day, u are bound to wait.

HD DVD

distraught over the almost completion for Gears of War campaign on "casual difficulty". i'm gonna skip the "hardcore" n "insane" difficulties of this game. i'm not a multi player whore so i'm gonna skip the online portion of the game as well. feeling blue over what next to buy on 360 .... sillifully, looking at viva pinata, smackdown vs raw, r6 vegas. i've tried the latter 2 on markeytplace downloaded demo and they're surely not impressive. like all say "demo is not a representive of the completed game", testdrive unlimited had a bad demo but the completed game was impressive. nevertheless, i'll possibly and i SHOULD cool it off and play my old unfinished games like oblivion and ridge racer 6 instead of blindly buying game that i am not really anticipating.

my dad and i never come eye to eye on which route to take when it comes to driving. my dad is 70 years old this year. it's my off day. been put off since dad last mentioned that he wanted to visit the cemetery. was planned as a trip as just me and my dad. but since mom n don were around, it became a 4person outing to visit the passed aways.

first point was the CCK columbarium. my aunt, whom i have never seen before and died at 4, my great grandfather (founder of Ai Tong Primary School) and my granddad, were dugged out and urned up and remembered here.

then it was the CCK infamous cross junction cemetery, where my grandmother that passed on in april 1991 was buried.
my wife and i used to go cemetery visits in the past. the peace here is what u'll never find in the urban singapore life.

and as usual, my dad and i argued on which is the best route back home.


managed to collect my GoW at 2230hrs at Funan 2nite. i only got to know the game was officially out 2day at 2145hrs. thx to jaclyn of gamescore who called me at 2210hrs when i was about to leave my in-laws place, that gamescore will wait for me if i can make it 2nite. amazing
