a busy day since the morning. with a mixture of alcohol n cough tabs in my blood .... i slept at the crazy hour last night, 1130pm.

my day started at 8am .... picked up twiggy at my in-laws to drop her at PAWS vet at bukit purvis for her spaying. twiggs wasnt too friendly so she was muzzled.

some minor deliver at the west v4 we settled for shopping at vivocity. the 26inch hdmi full hd sony tv that i told skyslim about was missing. liked he said, perhaps a peeked to the future. got calls from dolls inc, PAWS the n ultimatley gamescore ....

twigs resting outside her house. she had fasted since last night 10pm. when she got home she served herself with plenty of water n fin her fave canned food solid gold. tho she still walks weak n wobblby, i'm sure she'll sping back in action in no time.

funan was packed as usual. collected my darkness for PS3 n bought a HD Dvd at gramaphone. sembawang music centre started selling a nice range of blurays n hd dvds. prices ranges between gramaphone n hmv heeren. i'm not sure if other brances are stocked too.

finally got my hay cropped short this evening. it's nice to have a regular hairstylist that cuts/style your hair to the correct look.

alvin asked me so what i'm into these days .... "games and toys", i replied. i'm not a fan of financial burden. my blog pages do contain some toy reviews .... but it'll never fall into the category of a local toy blog. it's mostly of my goodies i bought, my lament of my ideal life, certainly never be linked as a toy blog.


barry (so he's known as) bwasnt in the shop 2day. he's partner apraised my "powerful" watch. for a moment he was believing it was a rolex sub or a GMT in gold. a pity as a shop owner he didnt click this is a pimp bapex apexplorer. Simon Lee could regconized from far 2 years back when i first wore it. he has an eye for detail.

enterbay "way of the dragon" bruce lee mini review

boy i'm hungry now. i dislike it when my brother n his wife comes for dinner. they are hoggers. they were once told off by their own families, "are u done, if yes please dont sit around, there are others waiting to eat their dinner". kick ass statement isay.

below my mini review / thoughts about the new enterbay way of the dragon 1/6th figure. most picutres u might have seen from other websites. this will be my version.

this time round this set doesnt come with a enterbay carrier. so it's red big plastic bag when i bought mine. the artwork for the cupboard slipover cover is in black n white coolness. same prob encounter when u need to slip it off from the box. the inner box is pretty flimsy, do watch out for tears when inspecting.

serial number are on 4 same locations again. they're on the back of the slip cupboard, the back of the box, the card cert, the back of your figure. as the diorama is now part of the inner box, u have only 4 locations that display the serial numbers.

the artwork on the innerbox. the box opens from left to right. the line on this box is your hinge.

ta da .... the diorama. bruce is hidden on the greyish wall. no the whole diorama is of hardened quailty, this is a letdown if u compare it with the first set's diorama.

bruce held nicely on a black velvet plastic. sorry no figure stand was located somehow.

sets of hands n weapons. soft nunchakus and flexi bamboo. the flying darts r delicate do take care when removing from the box.

the rotatable eyes. you'll have to adjust them carefully as u might get a slight cock-eye look as they rotates independently.

his outer shirt buttons are the delicate knots so i'm gonna leave him unbuttoned for the fear of mishandling the knots. medicom chose an esy way out by using velcro. this one is real precise.

bruce with chopestick pose. same stiff limited rotatable ankles. as previous figure. means toes will likely point foward, outward depending on your rotating at the groin region joint.

my artbook is still shrinked warpped. anyone who didnt pre-order but still gets this book is gonna be a steal.

3 bruises ?!?!?! who's gonna win as my favourite ?? i take way of the dragon as the winner for now. what's your choice ??

bruce lee day

bumped into christopher harold at the locker corridor yesterday. we had a brief chat on my impatience on the upcoming enterbay bruce lee. and in the evening at work w bumped into each other again, both of us had reveived sms from falcon's hangar that the figure will arrive 2mrw 1pm.

didnt catch much sleep 2day despite only near 3hrs rest last nite. incame my bruce lee dvd from amzon.co.uk

i cancelled order for ghost rider bluray from amazon this morn cos the price will be slight diff to the local release. was gonna go HMV heeren to grab that but located it at gramaphone capitol, 2gther with the lure again on planet earth, that saves me a trip down to heeren, again another place ealine will try to avoid.

Dirt came in a week early, from ealry to delay to early, gamescore smsed me for the game arrival late morning. spotted GI July at Computer Books at funan, it's another crumple copy. i asked the sales person why do they only bring in one copy and it always end up crumple. last month's crupled issue was still on the shelf. she suggest me placing a reservation but that's not good enuff for now. i draged my wife to kino laing court and as usually they have that shrink-wrapped copy. awesome.

regular blogs means regular shopping. after all most of my blogs relates to purchases for the day. holy moses shit. time to cut.

200 not 300

bumped inoto rick at hmv. he's lure of planet earth bluray has got strong, but i resisted the temptation and will hold off this purchase til a little date.

when i received this invitation from citbank / mariott, i knew what we'll get into. but for $200 takashimaya voucher, i told elaine, lets do it.


540pm, we were early at 14th floor tower A ngee ann city mariott vacations. the spread of high tea style buffet was bearable. spotted are some glaring eyes at our outlandish dressing and styled super. then came in more normal pple that we soon blend in. and so it was a mass sale, again back to 1to1 travel share sale. what the heck we spoke to ourselves, just for the $200. so 1.5hrs finally passed and the 2 girls that were assigned to us failed to persuade these 2 determined shoppers. well the package deal was good, but we'll just not the travel kind, i told them with $500 each month i could get myself a pair of shoes [brother, sounds like hulk hogan] . they reluctantly led us to the check out counter and boy we got our $200 vouchers. heheh, the horror couple won again.


thursday is kino uk zines shippment nite. with 20percent off til end of month, i cant bear to reject PSU3, which i have seriously wanted to discard as a monthly reading. also located was haruki murakami's new book, and goodness i have not finished his last short stories novel. i'm just so impatient when it comes to reading, if everything can be make into a movie form. i'll try, try to finish this book then go back to his last novel.

perspiring in the highest speed, the fan doesnt seem to keep the weather cool, and i just had my shower.

audioslave's revelation cd arrived via post from amazon.com 2day. i guess anything released that i order now, and i'm gonna pay normal mail, will come in speedtime tagging on my yet released danzig outtakes cd.

rick n THL will be heading for the pool for a 30+ year old swim. tho i should join them, but gaming seems to have greater priority over my body. terrible but true. i'm gonna just do mind exercise.

i hope enterbay's bruce lee N0.2 comes real soon. i'm broke tho.

sket's toy inventory part 2 : 12inch (1/6th) figures

rick smsed me couple of days back. he needed info to research on a toy figure he might buy, a dark batman. dont get into the reign of the toy collecting unknown. viewing toy pictures on the net induce collecting, they called it poison.

long delayed project of shooting pictures of my current 12inch (1/6th) figures finally come to light this morning. while waiting for the mysterious missing of a potential recall to work, i take time off gaming and lazing to complete a abandoned task.

well, bad backgrounding and poor lighting conditions, but still having them all out, dusting them for maintenance is still we call a good job done.

this blog entry will serve as my second inventory of toys collecting; my remaining 12inch figures. gone are all the army / special forces, the amazing brothersworkers works, a couple of rare commodities .... may i present to u my new collection of sideshow, medicom, hot toys and the new entry enterbay:-

first up, vaders and troopers. all four figures are from medicom. the white ST is my first SW medicom and also the first SW 12inch that medicom had released. i do have another mint-in-box white trooper for keeps. next RotJ vader, RotS vader and blackhole stormtrooper.

slight poor focsuing on this picture. sideshow qui gon jinn and sideshow darth maul. not many pple are fond of this qui-gon due to his dead eyes. but i certainly love this figure very much that i reckon it's one of the best sideshow face sculpt that comes close to the actor himself. darth maul is a must collect for sw fans. this is sideshow's best work in my opinion.

i would love to have a or more sidesow exclusive version but all mine are regulars. the exclusive will usually come in a slightly higher price locally and with an addition prop while is always cool.

sideshow plo koon and sideshow kit fisto. plo koon is my newest sideshow and sideshow's latest sw release. i had intended to skip this figure when it was annouced couple of months back. but guess the darkside is strong. kit fisto marks my first sideshow figure. i was in KL with elaine when we visited XL-toys and we saw this piece of art.


partially exclusive, this is a san diego 2006 toy con version. this sideshow anakin has a different base stand to others. spotted with red sithy eyes, the regular version will be a pure anakin b4 turning into the dark side.

medicom luke and yoda. hey, correction to the statement above, luke is indeed medicom's first SW figure. i hate sideshow's luke of the same design but plenty of local collectors hated this version instead. ok medicom does have an issue with the proportional height of the character, yes sideshow does a seriously better job on this aspect. but medicom always churn out the best for thier price, but sideshow is seriously giving them a tough competition. in the US, medicom is now distributed by sideshow toys, a good bizness strategy is guess. this yoda is categorized as a VCD instead of a 1/6th item. glad i got this after the launch for i find the detail absolutely amazing compared to my ex-aging hasbro yoda.

after selling most of my 12inch collection, i started buying them again. so i have determined my current fate .... to collect 12inch figures instead of toys that i can be fond of .... no more 3 3/4inch for sure, ok maybe some sw kubricks for the change.

now i cant really remember the brand of this toy maker. it's a brothersfree collabration with another toy maker to produce this HK toy con exclusive. brothersrobber. my box is signed by the 3 brothersfree owners.


edison chen bathing ape figure my wife got me. again i cant rem the brand of this toy. a must have for a bathing ape fan like me. and eric so's sam lee by medicom. sam lee's clothing are by revolver while his shoes are bapesta .


my remaining brothersworker .... tank hood. and apexplorer by winson ma from brothersfree. btoh by hot toys. i've chose to keep this brothersworker tank hood for i find him the cutest. think michaeal jackson will lkie him too, duh.


metal gear solid 3 snake eater solid snake by medicom. this is the third version sold in wonderfest 2005. sideshow's freddy krueger from freddy vs jason. this is my first seondhand loose figure bought.


finally my current craze .... enterbay's GOD [game of death] bruce lee and medicom's enter the dragon bruce lee. without enterbay's entry, medicom's bruce lee will be the best bruce ever released. but enterbay won handsdown ....

missing in the pictures is a LAPD keanu reeves my wife bought me.

and what's coming in soon will be medicom's sandtrooper and enterbay's way of the dragon bruce lee.

still in planning stage are sideshow's boussh leia, and obiwan anh version, medicom will have boba fett, jango fett.
